The 29th, departed for Key Largo after going to Gator Park and taking a ride on the Airboat. It was fun and we actually saw an alligator. We then stopped at a small BBQ place along the road and had a feast. The GPS indicated that US Route 1 was closed along the way, so it took us another route. Worked just as well. We got to Key Largo and went then directly to the Hampton Inn Key Largo Hotel and relaxed and watched the sunset. We were too full from the BBQ so skipped dinner.
On the 30th, we went to John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park and took a glass bottom boat tour of the Coral Reef. We then went to The Fish House Restaurant & Market for a meal, then to The Laura Quinn Wild Bird Sanctuary It was awesome. Small but concise! Back to the hotel for the end of a beautiful day.
