Another late start today this Tuesday April 19th. First we went to Linda's Winter Park Diner and had Bacon, Eggs, Toast & Coffee!
Then we went to the Winter Park Downtown and walked for a bit. Lilia went into Talbots and got some goodies and then to Lilly Pulitzer store for more. Spotted Kilwins Winter Park Ice Cream Shop, so I had a cherry milk shake & Lilia had a cup of ice cream.
We decided to do the boat tour with Scenic Bout Tours. It was really good and lasted about an hour. The captain was a great and knowledgeable storyteller and we went from lake to lake in canals that were made wide enough for one boat.
Walked around the town for awhile. This is also a stop for the SunRail train. Actually stops quite frequently.
The 20th was a day of rest. We did basically nothing.
The 21st we went to the Kennedy Space Center visitor center. It was an awesome day and an awesome experience! We were there for the SpaceX Falcon 9 Launch and I got a great video of it taking off.
Then we stopped off at Wendy & Bill's home and visited with them and Kenna. Didn't stay long. Kenna was under the weather. They invited us over for Sunday.
4/22 - not much today. Lilia got her nails done. I enjoyed the warmth in the car. The wind was overbearing. We ate at a Mexican restaurant named "El Potro". It was delicious! We will have a busy time left here in Orlando. Tomorrow, Saturday, a picnic with Stella, Andrew and maybe Joshua at Lake Eola Park near here. Then on Sunday we have an invitation to Wendy & Bill's home at noon. Monday, we will take Stella, Edward, Joshua and Kenna to the Scenic Boat Tour in Winter Park. On Tuesday Lilia and I will go to Universal Studios to see Harry Potter and enjoy the experience. Wednesday we will drive to Miami.
I think I will do a separate post for the 23rd through the 27th.
